Passports are issued by appointment only please make sure to contact our office at 336-318-6972 to schedule your appointment. Walk-ins may be available

Checks or money orders are required for mailing to the U.S. Department of State with your completed passport application.
FIRST-TIME APPLICANTS
First-time applicants need to submit Form DS 11 which requires the following:
- Appear in person.
- Proof of citizenship (certified birth certificate, expired passport, naturalization certificate)
- Proof of identity (driver's license, military ID, other government issued ID)
- A recent 2" x 2" high-quality photograph (We are able to take photographs in-house for a fee of $10.00).

FEES
Application Fee: Personal check or money order only payable to "U.S. Department of State". (We CANNOT accept cash or debit/credit cards for this service).
Execution fee: ($35) and photo fee ($10) may be paid by cash, check (payable to "Register of Deeds") or credit/debit card (a 2.65% service fee is automatically applied by the bank)
WAITING PERIODS
- Routine Processing: up to 8-11 weeks
- Expedited Processing: up to 5-7 weeks (additional fees apply)

RENEWALS
We can not process passport renewals. They are processed and mailed by the applicant; however, we can assist with passport renewal photographs.
