On Friday, December 12, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office held their annual awards program with Sheriff Greg Seabolt also recognizing the recipients. This year
we had three selected for our Community Partner of the Year Award.
America’s Roadhouse - Locally owned and operated since 2002, owner Andy Archibald has consistently supported fundraisers for our employees in need or the community by hosting or providing supplies needed for the events. Mr. Archibald was unable to attend. Mr. Story accepted on their behalf.

Briles Oil and Gas (David Briles accepted)- Briles Oil & Gas, Inc. boasts a rich legacy in Asheboro, NC, originating in 1960 when Harold Briles founded the company. Initially, it operated as a one-man business, supplying heating oil and kerosene to friends and neighbors in Randolph County. Over time, it has expanded into a comprehensive service provider, offering propane, equipment, and commercial fuels. The Briles team has consistently prioritized reliable and courteous fuel delivery and service for both homes and businesses in Randolph and Davidson, and the surrounding counties. Their unwavering commitment to customer service and community engagement has established Briles Oil & Gas as a reputable name in the area. Briles Oil has worked with us on multiple occasions when we needed propane to cook for our employees or host fundraisers to help families in need.

Petty Family Foundation (Rebecca Petty and Shannon Newman accepted) – Established in 2008, the Petty Family Foundation strongly believes in family values, integrity, and compassion for others. These principles form the foundation upon which they built the organization, providing the tools needed to empower those who help others. The Foundation has collaborated with us on multiple projects that create a positive, long-term impact in our communities. The two most notable are the Sheriff’s Office’s annual Trunk or Treat event and the sponsorship of our Kartin’ in the Fast Lane team, which benefits Special Olympics NC.
