[ARCHIVED] Junior Sheriff's Academy Dates Set for 2025

Junior Sheriffs Academy

Are you a parent of a student eager to explore a rewarding career in public service? The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Community-Based Programs Division is excited to announce the 2025 Junior Sheriff’s Academy, featuring three engaging one-week sessions every summer! We welcome ambitious male and female middle school and high school students, aged 12 to 15, who are passionate about making a difference in fields such as law enforcement, fire service, or emergency medical services (EMS).

This captivating program provides participants with an incredible opportunity to develop essential skills in teamwork, peer mentoring, discipline, and leadership. Students will experience thrilling activities, including K-9 demonstrations, SWAT demonstrations, and rappelling, all designed to ignite their interest in public service and create a sense of camaraderie and community.

To be eligible for this life-changing experience, students must reside in Randolph County, exhibit generally good school behavior in school, and demonstrate a willingness to participate and try new things. Best of all, transportation and meals are provided at no cost to participants!

Mark your calendars for the 2025 Randolph County Sheriff's Office Junior Sheriff's Academy dates:

- June 16 to June 20, 2025

- July 7 to July 11, 2025

- August 4 to August 8, 2025
