On April 1, 2026, while the Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT) was assisting another agency in searching for a wanted subject, they located another individual, identified as Ryan Anil Kumar, on Leonae Drive in Randleman, who also had an outstanding order for arrest. During a search for arrest, illegal substances and paraphernalia were located. Kumar was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate served his outstanding order for arrest and found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of fentanyl, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
