On July 23, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Clyde King Rd., Seagrove, in reference to a burglary that had already occurred. Following further investigation by the Criminal Interdiction Team, charges were sought against Franklin Troy Seay. The magistrate found probable cause and issued each a warrant for felony larceny.
On November 21, 2023, Seay was arrested and served the outstanding warrant. He was issued a $5,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for November 22, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
