On December 24, 2023, Randolph County Detention Center Staff reported that Azion Tremaine Fair had set off the fire suppression system in his cell.
Following the investigation by the Detention Center Detective, charges were sought for felony interfere with jail/prison fire system and misdemeanor injury to real property. The magistrate found probable cause and issued a criminal summons to Fair on January 8, 2024, to appear in Randolph County District Court on January 29, 2024.
