On February 20, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff's Office responded to Shagbark Dr., Trinity, in reference to a request for an agency assist with NC Probation and Parole. Upon arrival, they located officers inside the residence with Monica Diane Strickland, who was in possession of methamphetamine.
Following the investigation, Strickland was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine. She was also served a warrant for the felony probation violation sought by Probation Officers. She was issued a $100,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for February 21, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
