On March 2, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Georgia Dr., Randleman, in reference to a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, deputies observed a white male subject standing behind the house, next to a ladder that was propped against the roof of the residence. Loud verbal commands were given to the subject, later identified as Harley Ryan Medley, to which he complied and was detained.
Following the investigation and collection of evidence, Medley was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony attempted larceny and misdemeanor injury to real property. He was issued a $5,000 unsecured bond. A first appearance was set for April 1, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
