On April 17, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Deputies went to NC Hwy 22 N., Franklinville in an attempt to locate Brantley Joseph Norman, who had two outstanding orders for arrest. Upon locating Norman, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were observed. He was arrested and items seized for evidence. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He received no bond. He was also served his outstanding warrants and received a $15,000 secured bond. A first appearance was set for April 19, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
