On May 16, 2024, the Randolph County Detention Center Detective was alerted that Christopher Lee Clark had possibly obtained property falsely while confined. Following an investigation, charges were sought for felony obtain property by false pretense and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant. Still confined, he was served the warrant and issued a $5,000 secured bond. A first appearance was set for May 22, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
