On June 18, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff's Office responded to Cresent Dr., Asheboro, for a requested agency assist to NC Probation and Parole. During a home visit and search of Casey Shane McCoy, Probation Officers located illegal substances and paraphernalia were located. McCoy was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony maintain vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, felony possession of schedule I controlled substance, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
