On July 30, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Knollwood Dr., Archdale. During the investigative stop, paraphernalia was located. During a subsequent search, heroin and paraphernalia were located belonging to the passenger, Zoet Makayla Grace Reyes.
The driver was identified as Andrew Logan McKinney, who had an outstanding warrant for misdemeanor probation violation.
Both were arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of heroin and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia against Reyes. She was not issued a bond and a first appearance was set for July 30, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
McKinney was served his warrant and received no bond due to being on pretrial release on another charge.
