On September 25, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Unit concluded an investigation related to the distribution of narcotics in Randolph County. Detectives, along with the Asheboro Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence located on Uwharrie St. in Asheboro. During the search, detectives located and seized a trafficking amount of methamphetamine, US Currency, and items of drug paraphernalia.
As a result, Alex Junior Galarza was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony trafficking in methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony maintain vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana up to ½ oz, misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a $100,000 secured bond with a first appearance set for September 26, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
