On September 29, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team Urban Unit, conducted a traffic stop near Hoover Hill Rd. & Slick Rock Mtn. Rd. in Trinity. During the stop, a search was conducted and detectives located and seized methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia. As a result, Bret Thomas Doerle was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. The magistrate issued no bond with a first appearance set for September 30, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
