On July 11, 2024, members of the Invictus Task Force executed a search warrant in Randolph County, NC, related to a cyber tip received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). As a result of the investigation Jonathan Jimenz Serrato was charged by the Invictus Task Force with two (2) counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Exploitation of a minor. Serrato was arrested on October 10, 2024, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate issued a $10,000 secured bond and set a first appearance in Randolph County District Court. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Invictus Task Force representatives.
