On December 19, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Unit concluded an investigation relating to the distribution of narcotics in Randolph County. Detectives, along with the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at a residence on Arbor Drive in Trinity. During the search, Detectives located and seized a trafficking amount of Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Marijuana. Also seized was a firearm along with ammunition and US Currency.
Anthony Jerome Banks was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony trafficking in heroin, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, felony maintain a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance and felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule VI controlled substance. He was issued a no bond and a first appearance was issued for December 20, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
