On December 22, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Old Thomasville Rd. and Bethel Dr., High Point, in reference to a traffic hazard. Upon arrival, the deputy located a female walking in the middle of the roadway. She was identified as Nikki Leann Armfield. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located. She was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was given no bond due to already being out on pre-trial release. A first appearance was issued for December 23, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
