
In 2024, the Tarrant Police Department in Tarrant, Alabama, initiated an investigation into the solicitation of a minor. During the course of the investigation, Tarrant PD Investigators requested investigative assistance from the Invictus Task Force. During the joint investigation, Kenneth Sean Gray of Asheboro, NC, was identified as a suspect.
As a result of the joint investigation, Kenneth Sean Gray was charged with One (1) count of Electronic Solicitation of a Child by the Tarrant Police Department in Alabama. A warrant for his arrest was issued and subsequently served in concert with a search warrant for his residence.
On January 24, 2025, Kenneth Sean Gray was taken into custody and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate issued a $300,000 secured bond and set a first appearance in Randolph County District Court for January 27, 2025. Gray is currently awaiting extradition to the state of Alabama. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Invictus Task Force representatives or the Tarrant Police Department in Alabama.
