On November 22, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office was assisting Thomasville Police Department with conducting a search warrant on Bethel Drive Extension in Thomasville. During the search, illegal substances were located in the possession of Geoffrey Scott Davis. After the conclusion of the search warrant, Davis was advised that charges would be sought at a later date, and on January 28, 2025, the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of Schedule II controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
On February 24, 2024, Davis was located in Guilford County, arrested, and transported to the Guilford County Detention Center where the magistrate issued a $1,500 secured bond and a first appearance was held on February 25, 2025. A court date was set for April 10, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
