On March 2, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Clearview Dr., Asheboro, at the request of NC Probation and Parole for an agency assist call for service. During a routine search of the residence of Teresa Michelle L. King, Officers found suspected narcotics and paraphernalia. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued a $5,000 secured bond. A first appearance was set for March 3, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
