On April 9, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest (EHA) Officers were alerted to Lawrence Nathaniel Chandler violating the terms and conditions of the Pre-Trial Release contract by going to numerous unauthorized locations. Upon arriving at Chandler's residence, deputies observed him leaving the residence with no prior approval. They followed him to his destination and arrested him for violating his EHA. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate issued a $250,000 secured bond.
Lawrence Chandler has been on EHA since March 21, 2024, for 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. This is Lawrence Chandler's second violation.
