On April 12, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop at N. Main St. and Pinecrest Dr., Archdale.
During a subsequent search, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located. Carolyn McClure Mastowski was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was not given a bond due to being on pre-trial release. A first appearance was set for April 14, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
