On April 16, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Enforcement Team conducted a traffic stop near Archdale Rd. and Royal Pines Dr., Trinity. The vehicle had an inspection violation and the registered owner, Kenny Ardon, had a suspended driver’s license. During a subsequent search of the vehicle, fentanyl and paraphernalia were located.
Ardon was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Ardon was issued a $10,000.00 secured bond with a court appearance set for May 9, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
