On May 17, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Westchapel Rd., Asheboro. There had been multiple calls earlier in the moring at different residences regarding Vasco Glen Fernandez, Jr. One of the calls concluded with Fernandez being trespassed from this Westchapel address.
Upon arrival, it was determined that Fernandez had attempted to make entry into the residence this time and was detained until law enforcement arrived.
Fernandez was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony break/enter to terrorize/injure and misdemeanor cruelty to animals. He was issued a $3,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for May 19, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
