On June 2, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Huntington Rd., Ramseur, in reference to fraud. Following the investigation, charges were sought against Robert Lee Dzurenka for felony exploitation of a disabled/elder adult and twelve counts of misdemeanor financial card fraud. The magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest.
Later in the day, Dzurenka was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served his warrant. He was issued a $15,000 secured bond. A first appearance was set for June 3, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
