In May 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force initiated an investigation related to a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During the course of the investigation, Scotti Michael Long was identified as a suspect.
On June 5, 2025, a search warrant was executed by members of the Invictus Task Force and as a result, Scotti Michael Long was taken into custody and charged with seven (7) counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and three (3) counts of First-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. Long was transported to the Davidson County Detention Center where the magistrate issued a $250,000 secure bond and set a first appearance in Davidson County District Court for June 27, 2025. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, Invictus Task Force representatives.
