On January 17, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft of catalytic converters that had already occurred while the vehicles were at a repair shop.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Interdiction Team Urban Unit, charges were sought against Darrell Ray Pack and Keith Dwayne Masters for felony larceny of motor vehicle parts and felony injury to property - obtain nonferrous metal, and the magistrate found probable cause to issue warrants for their arrest.
On May 19, 2025, Pack was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served with his outstanding warrant. He was issued a $15,000 secured bond, and a first appearance was set for May 20, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
On June 14, 2025, Masters was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served with his outstanding warrant. He was issued a $1,500 secured bond, and a first appearance was set for June 16, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
