On June 17, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team Urban Unit responded to Fairwood Dr., Trinity, in an attempt to locate two Harley Davidson motorcycles that had been reported stolen. Frederick Shelley Beasley was developed as a suspect in the thefts. During the course of the investigation, the motorcycles were recovered, and Beasley was located and arrested. He was arrested and transported to Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for two counts of felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Beasley was given no bond due to having a pending criminal charge. A first appearance was set for June 20, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
On June 23, 2025, while still confined in Randolph County Detention Center, Beasley was served with an additional warrant for arrest for two counts of felony larceny of a motor vehicle. Beasley received no bond due to the Pre-Trial Integrity Act and received a court date of June 24, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
