On September 14, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Wedgewood Ter., Trinity, in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, deputies met with the victim. The suspect, identified as Jorbin Jar Hernandez Rosales, had left the address. EMS responded to evaluate the victim.
Additional deputies located Hernandez Rosales, detained him, and returned to Wedgewood Ter.. to complete the investigation.
Following the investigation, he was arrested and taken to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony assault by strangulation, misdemeanor assault on a female, misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury, and misdemeanor injury to personal property. He was not granted bail due to the domestic nature of the charges. A first appearance was scheduled for September 15, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
