On October 16, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest (EHA) Officers conducted a residence search of Guy Maurice Wise in accordance with the conditions of his Electronic House Arrest.
Upon arrival at the residence, a strong odor of marijuana was immediately detected from the exterior of the home. During the search, illegal substances and paraphernalia were located. Wise was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for:
- Felony Trafficking in Cocaine
- Felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine
- Felony Trafficking in Fentanyl
- Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances
- Simple Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia
He was issued a $100,000 secured bond, with continued Electronic House Arrest conditions that were set in connection with his prior charges of Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Felony Discharge of a Weapon into Occupied Property. A first appearance was set for October 17, 2025, in Randolph County District Court on the new charges, and a separate appearance was set for the same day on the EHA violation.
