On December 27, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Westfield Church Rd., Trinity, in reference to a report of a suspicious person trespassing on church property. Upon arrival, deputies located a male subject, who matched the description given of the trespasser. The male was identified as Jonathan Michael Dolinish, who was placed under arrest for an outstanding probation warrant out of Durham County.
During a search for arrest, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor resisting a public officer. He was also served his outstanding warrant. He was issued a $200,000 total secured bond plus EHA and a first appearance was set for December 29, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
