On January 15, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the area of New Hope Church Rd., and Frank Lamb Dr., Asheboro. During the investigative stop, the male initially provided a false name but was later identified as Logan Dale Perry, who had Order for Arrest for traffic charges. He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony identity theft and misdemeanor resist a public officer. He was also served his outstanding order for arrest. Perry received no bond on the new charges and a $1,000 secured bond on the order. A court date set for January 16, 2026, in Randolph County District Court.
