On June 1, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Bachelor Creek Rd., Seagrove, in reference to an agency assist. During a search, Probation and Parole Officers located methamphetamine and paraphernalia in the vehicle of Misty Kay Garner. Due to extenuating circumstances and calls for service at that time, Garner was advised that charges would be sought for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
The magistrate found probable cause for the charges and a criminal summons was issued to appear in Randolph County District Court on July 10, 2023.
