Following an investigation by the Randolph County Criminal Investigations Division, additional charges were sought against Aaron Thomas Garner for seventeen counts of felony first degree statutory sex offense with a child under 13 years of age and the magistrate found probable cause for the warrant. Still confined at the Randolph County Detention Center, Garner was served the warrant on June 13, 2023. The magistrate issued a $1,000,000 secured bond for these charges. A first appearance was set for June 14, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.

On May 31, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a report of sexual acts upon minors. Following an investigation of the allegations, Criminal Investigation Detectives sought charges against Aaron Thomas Garner for three counts of felony first degree statutory sex offense with a child under 13 years of age.
On June 6, 2023, Garner was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served the warrants. The magistrate issued a $500,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for June 7, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
