On November 7, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest (EHA) Officers were made aware that Patrick Andre Marley had violated his conditions of EHA. Deputies responded to the Adult Day Reporting Center where they were advised that Marley had tested positive for illegal substances. Marley had been advised to wait in the lobby, but he left the building despite the instructions. EHA Officers were able to track Marley’s EHA GPS device and located him at the intersection of Presnell St. and Rock Crusher Rd. as a passenger in a vehicle, matching the description given by the staff of the Day Reporting Center. A traffic stop was conducted, and Marley was taken into custody without incident for Violation of EHA.
He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the felony electronic house arrest violation. The magistrate issued a $500,000 secured bond plus continued EHA. A first appearance was scheduled for November 8, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
This is the second violation of EHA for Marley. The first one occurred on February 6, 2023, also for testing positive for cocaine. He was initially placed on EHA on November 8, 2022, for murder.
