On November 18, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to NC Hwy 42 S., Asheboro, to serve an outstanding warrant and a domestic violence protection order against Jeffrey Lee McDaniel. During a subsequent search, cocaine was located. McDaniel was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served the outstanding warrant for arrest for assault on a female for which bond was denied.
He was also charged with felony possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, felony maintain a dwelling for controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. The magistrate issued a $2,500 secured bond. A first appearance was set for November 20, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
