On November 20, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to US Hwy 64 E., Asheboro, in reference to a welfare check of a female that had been parked at the business for almost an hour and seemed to be asleep. Upon arrival, deputies located a female, identified as Lisa Maness Moore, who appeared to be under the influence of an impairing substance.
During a subsequent search, cocaine and paraphernalia were located.
Moore was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Her release was not authorized due to her currently being out on bond for an unrelated matter. A first appearance was set for November 21, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
