On February 20, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Urban Criminal Interdiction Team initiated a traffic stop for minor violations on St. Peter Church Rd. in Randleman. During the traffic stop, a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and a concealed weapon were located and seized.
As a result, Jonathan Charles Toomes was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor window tinting violation, misdemeanor driving while license revoked -not impaired rev, misdemeanor littering > 15 lbs., misdemeanor carrying concealed weapon, misdemeanor possession drug paraphernalia and drive left of center. He was given a $25,000 secured bond with a first appearance set for February 21, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
