On March 6, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit concluded an investigation relating to the distribution of narcotics in Randolph County. A traffic stop was conducted on US Hwy 311 in Randleman, and after further investigation, a subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted. Detectives located and seized a trafficking amount of Fentanyl and US Currency.
As a result, Danny Lee Minor was transported to Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony trafficking in heroin, misdemeanor simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a $10,000 secured bond with a first appearance in Randolph County District Court on March 8, 2024.
