On July 31, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Old County Farm Rd, Sophia, in reference to a Trespassing call. During this investigation, deputies encountered Larry Roger Moore, a convicted felon, in possession of a firearm. He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of a firearm by a felon. He was given no bond and a court date of 8/2/24 in Randolph County District Court.
