On August 13, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest (EHA) Officers located Jackson Parks Thorpe for the service of a criminal summons which consequently led to an EHA violation. He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was the magistrate issued a $50,000 secured bond on the violation with continued EHA. A court date was scheduled for August 14, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
Thorpe has been on house arrest for multiple felony offenses since July 7, 2024.
