On December 6, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Kennedy Rd. in Trinity, at the request of the NC Department of Adult Corrections Probation and Parole division in reference to substances that were located in the possession of Justin Earl Faw, who is on active probation, while they were conducting a routine search.
Faw was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Faw wasn't given a bond due to the Pre-trial Integrity Act and a first appearance was set for December 9, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
