The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registry Detective received information that Benjamin Andrew Sterling a registered sex offender in Randolph County, has an active arrest warrant with full extradition out of South Carolina for a sexual offense.
On January 10, 2024, Sterling reported to the Sex Offender Registry Detective and was served his warrant for arrest. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate issued a $500,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for January 13, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
