On January 24, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Unit concluded an investigation relating to the distribution of narcotics in Randolph County. Detectives, along with the Randleman Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence on Worthville St. in Randleman. During the search, Detectives located and seized a trafficking amount of LSD, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and items of drug paraphernalia.
Lewis Gerald Blankenship, Jr. was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony trafficking in LSD, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, felony maintain a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, misdemeanor simple possession schedule VI controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a no bond and a first appearance was set for January 27, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
