The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registry Detective received information that registered sex offender Christopher Timothy Ward was not residing at his registered address. Any address change must be completed in writing and in person at the Sheriff's Office, within three business days of the change.
Following the investigation, charges were sought against Ward for felony fail to report new address - sex offender and the magistrate found probable cause to issue the warrant for arrest.
On January 24, 2025, Ward was served his warrant at the Randolph County Courthouse and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center. He was issued a $75,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for January 27, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
