
On April 1, 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force and Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant related to a cyber tip received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). As a result of the investigation, Daniel Ervin West was arrested by the Task Force and charged with two (2) counts of Felony Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. West was transported to the Rockingham County Detention Center where the magistrate issued a $100,000 secured bond and set a first appearance in Rockingham County District Court. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, HSI Task Force representatives.
