On January 30, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Surrett Dr., at the intersection of Turnpike Rd., Archdale. The driver was identified as Ashley Losinger, who had an order for arrest out of Randolph County. During a subsequent search, illegal substances and paraphernalia were located. Losinger had a pet with her and due to being unable to make contact with someone to take custody of the pet, she was advised charges would be sought and to turn herself in upon securing the pet.
Charges were sought for felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor simple possession of schedule III controlled substance, and misdemeanor expired registration card/tag.
On March 28, 2025, Losinger was located in Davidson County, arrested, and transported to the Davidson County Detention Center where she was served her warrant and the outstanding order for arrest. The magistrate issued no bond and set a first appearance for March 31, 2025, in Davidson County District Court. A court date has been set for April 9, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
