On April 5, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Sharon Acres Dr., Sophia, in reference to larceny.
During the investigation, it was determined that Morgan Lindsey Davidson had posted and sold numerous items from the property for sale on Facebook Marketplace. No one had permission to take any property, as it was currently in the estate process in the court system.
Davidson, still on the property, was placed under arrest for two outstanding orders for arrest for felony probation violation and failure to appear on felony.
It was also determined that Johnny Flavys Collins, II, also still on the property, had taken metal from the address without permission. Collins was arrested for trespassing because he had been told by the heirs not to be there previously.
Collins and Davidson were transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges as follows:
- Davidson: felony obtain property by false pretense. She received a $5,000 secured bond. She was also served her outstanding orders for arrest and received a $40,000 secured bond.
- Collins: was charged with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing and given a $1,000 secured bond.
A first appearance was set for April 7, 2025, in Randolph County District Court for both.
