On January 11, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Archdale Rd., Trinity, in reference to trespassing. The caller advised a passenger car was in the driveway and an unknown male subject was lying in the yard. Upon arrival, deputies located the male, later identified as Christopher Lee Scott. Randolph County EMS responded to evaluate Scott and then transported him to an area hospital for further evaluation.
During inventory of the vehicle for towing, narcotics were located. Charges were sought for felony possession of methamphetamine, and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest for Scott.
On April 18, 2025, Scott was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served his warrant. The magistrate issued a $5,000 secured bond, and a first appearance was set for April 21, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
