On April 27, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Pilot Mtn. Rd., Asheboro, at the request of NC Probation and Parole for an agency assist call for service. During a routine search of the residence of Nathan David Jefferson, Officers found suspected narcotics. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine. He was issued a $1,000 secured bond, and a first appearance was set for April 28, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
